MANILA, Philippines — On Wednesday, the weather agency predicts hot and humid weather with sporadic rain showers across the country.

Warm and humid weather will prevail due to easterly winds, with isolated rain showers probable in the afternoon or evening.

Castaneda said, “Stay indoors or restrict outdoor activity.”

Those who plan to go outside should wear sunscreen, light clothing, and drink enough of water to avoid developing health problems, she warned.

Sunburn, dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heatstroke can all result from spending too much time in the sun.

The temperature in Metro Manila and Tuguegarao may reach 34°C; in Laoag, 33°C; in Zamboanga and Davao, 34°C; and in Iloilo, Cebu, and Tacloban, 32°C.

Over northern Luzon, moderate to high winds and moderate to rough waves will continue to prevail.

Winds will be light to moderate elsewhere, with modest to moderate seas.
