Pag-IBIG is planning to build up mobile branches in a few regions.

MANILA, Philippines — With its digital development and the establishment of mobile branches in several parts of the country, the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fundservices )’s have simply gotten better and more convenient.

Through the Fund’s mobile housing caravan, the Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels will begin promoting and marketing the government’s house loan programs and other services.

It will be deployed in disaster-stricken areas to provide members with much-needed services as soon as possible.

“Aside from assisting members, the Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels may also serve as a command center for relief operations, transporting emergency equipment and supplies so that we can provide immediate support and assistance to our kababayans (countrymen),” Pag-IBIG Fund said in a statement to the Philippine News Agency.

Updating and verifying Pag-IBIG membership; receiving housing, multi-purpose, and catastrophe loans; receiving retirement or death claims; offsite enrollment and issuance of Pag-IBIG loyalty card plus; and open for program enquiries are just a few of the services it provides.

The mobile branches will be staffed by at least four individuals and will provide services to national and local government personnel, as well as vendors, fishermen, farmers, transport drivers, and other public transportation groups.

Metro Manila, the City of San Fernando in Pampanga, Cebu City, and Davao City will receive the first batch of Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels.

The Fund can also send out mobile branches if the destination area requests it. A letter of request and a signed confirmation slip from the involved local government unit or enterprise should be submitted by the requester.

In addition to these initiatives, the Fund is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week through its virtual Pag-IBIG offices to assist more Filipinos.

Virtual offices for overseas Filipinos in the United Kingdom, North America, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Singapore are also available.

Short-term loans, housing loans, and developer’s housing loans are all available through the Pag-IBIG Fund.

It also offers Modified Pag-IBIG 2 (MP2) Savings, which allows members to make special voluntary savings with a five-year maturity and a 0.5 percent premium.

“Because we believe no member should be left behind,” the statement continued, “the Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels will be our way of reaching these members and ensuring that they have greater access to Pag-IBIG services.”
