Reminding Taguig instructors and students of COVID-19 guidelines

As in-person lessons for the 2022โ€“2023 school year officially began on Monday, the city administration of Taguig advised all instructors and students to rigorously abide by health regulations to prevent the spread of coronavirus illness 2019 (Covid-19).

As she personally checked on the situation of public school teachers and pupils, Mayor Lani Cayetano visited EM’s Signal Village Elementary School and Signal Village National High School.

Dr. Margarito Materum, the superintendent of the Department of Education’s Taguig-Pateros Schools Division, Chief of the School Governance and Operations Division Danny Espelico, and Councilor Marisse Balina-Eron were with her.

Face-to-face classes in Taguig continued to be calm and orderly, according to Cayetano, who also noted that the local administration is in control of the situation should an emergency develop.

Councilor Totong Maosca and Representative Ricardo Cruz Jr. of Taguig-Pateros District 1 paid a visit to the R.P. Cruz Elementary School’s children and staff.

Rep. Pammy Zamora of the Taguig 2nd District and Councilors Jomil Serna, Alex Penolio, and Edgar Baptista visited the Kapt. Eddie T. Reyes Integrated School, while Councilor Carlito Ogalinola went to the Bagumbayan National High School and Councilor Gammie San Pedro went to the Napindan Elementary School.

While waiting, Councilor Tikboy Marcelino went to Ususan Elementary School.
