In Sunday night’s Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw, a bettor who bought his ticket in Makati City won the PHP49.5-million jackpot reward.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced Monday that the lucky bettor correctly predicted the winning combination of 22-02-14-30-10-35, with a prize of PHP49,500,000.

The second prize was awarded to 28 bettors who correctly predicted five numbers and received PHP120,000 apiece.

Around 1,115 bettors each received PHP2,000 for correctly guessing four of the winning combinations, while 18,593 bettors each received PHP100 for correctly guessing three of the winning combinations.

Every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, the 6/58 Ultra Lotto is drawn.

This is the seventh time this month that a single bettor has won the government lottery jackpot reward.

Lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 will be subject to a 20% tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.

PCSO General Manager Royina Garma asked the public to continue buying PCSO products because a substantial portion of the organization’s revenue goes to charitable activities.

The Medical Access Program is one of its main initiatives, and it aims to meet the medical requirements of Filipinos all across the country, notably in the areas of hospitalization, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant drugs.

Revenues from PCSO games are used to fund the program.
