117,700 minors between the ages of 12 and 17 are fully vaccinated in Manila.
In Manila, a total of 117,027 children aged 12 to 17 were properly vaccinated against the deadly coronavirus disease in 2019. (Covid-19).
As of Sunday, 254,287 doses of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine had been given to the age group.
The vaccination of children aged 5 to 11 is being prepared in the capital city, with the first deployment slated for this Friday in a few locations.
One of the six first venues will be the freshly restored Manila Zoo, while the Bagong Ospital ng Maynila will also be ready if needed.
Low-dose Pfizer vaccines for the youngest age groups will arrive on February 2, according to the Manila Health Department.
According to the Manila Public Information Office, a total of 11,281 children aged 5 to 11 and 186,302 children aged 12 to 17 had registered for Covid-19 vaccinations as of January 26.
Manila has 1,351 active Covid-19 cases as of Sunday lunchtime, down from 1,488 the day before.
