The Netherlands will demand a negative Covid test from visitors from China
The Netherlands joined the other nations of the European Union on Friday in requiring travelers entering the country from China to have a negative Covid-19 test result.
On Tuesday, the rule will go into effect.
Wearing a mask on flights to and from China has been found to be “essential advice,” the Dutch government stated in a statement.
To keep an eye on the problem, more testing of the wastewater at Schiphol Airport will be done.
According to reports, the government is also looking into whether it would be possible to analyze the toilet waste on flights leaving China.
China, which is experiencing an enormous rise in infections after recently abandoning its tight “zero-Covid” policy, has been subject to stricter limits by a number of nations, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Italy, and Spain.
