Twitter announced the implementation of its “Violent Speech” policy on Tuesday.

The business said in a tweet that it has modified some of its guidelines on violent material and comparable language.

The statement read, “Today, we formally announce our Violent Speech policy, which forbids violent threats, desires of harm, glorification of violence, and instigation of violence.

Twitter, according to the corporation, is a platform for personal expression, news consumption, and discussion of major world issues.

But, when a message is conveyed using aggressive speech, constructive conversations cannot flourish. In order to protect the security of our users and stop the normalization of violent behavior, we have a zero-tolerance policy regarding violent communication, the company stated in its news policy.

“Twitter has a zero-tolerance policy against violent speech, and we will typically suspend any accounts that do so.

It continued, “For less serious infractions, we may demand that you delete the content before you are permitted access to your account again. (
