According to the weather bureau, most of the country will experience warm and humid weather as the easterlies influence the eastern section of the Visayas and Mindanao. In a weather bulletin issued at 5 a.m., forecaster Benison Estareja from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) stated that localized thunderstorms are still possible, particularly in the afternoon. It is important to note that severe thunderstorms could lead to flash floods or landslides.

The Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to the southern part of the province. PAGASA warns that moderate to heavy rains could result in flash floods or landslides.

Across the archipelago, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are expected.

Meanwhile, Estareja mentioned that no tropical cyclone will enter the country in the coming days. Although a shallow low-pressure area may form, the chances of it developing into a tropical cyclone are slim.
