🌐💼 MANILA – President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. proudly announced on Monday that his official overseas visits since taking office have sparked significant investments in the country, creating employment opportunities for Filipino citizens.

During his second State of the Nation Address (SONA), Marcos revealed that his foreign trips had garnered an impressive estimated total investment value of PHP3.9 trillion (USD71 billion), potentially generating approximately 175,000 new jobs.

Among the countries visited by the Chief Executive are Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, the United States, China, Japan, and various European nations.

He highlighted that BOI-approved investment projects have already reached PHP1.2 trillion during the first year of his term.

Assuring investors of ongoing progress, Marcos emphasized that implementing recent economic reforms is well underway. One such initiative is the launch of green lanes for strategic investments, which began on July 18.

THE NATION’S ECONOMIC FUTURE LOOKS PROMISING, with PHP230 billion worth of strategic investments approved for processing through these newly established green lanes.
