RTWPB Recognizes 10 Outstanding MSMEs in Eastern Visayas πŸ†πŸ‘

TACLOBAN CITY β€” The Regional Tripartite Productivity Board (RTWPB) of Eastern Visayas celebrated the remarkable achievements of 10 exceptional micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) during Friday’s 2023 Productivity Olympics Regional Award.

The awardees were recognized for their outstanding contributions to their respective fields and commitment to excellence and productivity. The honorees hailed from various categories within the MSME spectrum:

  • Micro Category: Bibar’s Farm, and Mary’s Abuyog Spesyal Tsokoleyt Moron Atbp.
  • Small Category: Alto Peak Chocolate Processing, Eva Marie Arts and Craft, Ladea Artspot and Advertising, Abuyog St. Francis Xavier Credit Cooperative, Northern Samar Multi-purpose Cooperative, PASAR Employees Multipurpose Cooperative, and Palompon Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative – PACCI.
  • Medium Category: Don Orestes Romualdez Electric Cooperative.

Commending their exceptional efforts, John Henry Jalbuena, the Regional Director of the Department of Labor and Employment in Eastern Visayas and Chairperson of RTWPB, expressed his admiration for the awardees’ commitment to excellence and their unwavering pursuit of productivity.

Jalbuena underscored the significance of the awardees’ accomplishments, noting that they exceeded expectations and stood as inspirations to others. He stated, β€œYour accomplishments testify to your unwavering determination and relentless pursuit of success, reflecting the true essence of Productive Olympics.”

He further emphasized that their achievements not only contribute to their personal growth but also make a positive impact on the region’s entire workforce. β€œYou have become exemplary role models for your peers and individuals across various industries,” Jalbuena added.

The Regional Productivity Olympics is a biennial competition designed to cultivate national awareness and commitment to quality and productivity. It serves as a platform to showcase the most exceptional productivity improvement programs and practices implemented by MSMEs in various sectors, including agribusiness, service, and industry.

The selection of awardees involved a rigorous process. Nominations were submitted to the RTWPB and were then meticulously screened by members of the regional screening committee. The chosen finalists will undergo further evaluation to determine the recipients of the national awards.

The 2023 Productivity Olympics Regional Award was themed β€œFrom Striving to Thriving: Reset and Reposition for Impact.” This celebration not only honors the accomplishments of these remarkable MSMEs but also underscores the vital role that productivity and excellence play in driving economic growth and sustainable development.
