The NCR has a positive percentage of moreover 50%, according to the OCTA.

According to the OCTA Research Group, the optimism rate in the National Capital Region (NCR) has surpassed 50% for the first time, standing at 50.5 percent as of January 7, 2022.

“According to DOH (Department of Health) data, the rate of increase in the positive rate appears to be moderating. Dr. Guido David of the OCTA Research Group tweeted, “We shall know in the next few days if the positive rate is actually slowing or if this is just an artificial impact.”

The percentage of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) tests that were positive in a given area or region is known as the positivity rate.

“If the peak in the positive rate is going down, the NCR peak (of Covid-19 cases) could happen within the week,” David noted.

According to OCTA, the NCR had the most cases with 8,468 between January 2 and January 8.

Bacoor City is second with 218 votes, followed by Antipolo with 211, Cainta with 202, and Dasmarias with 152.
