The recovery rate for Caraga Covid-19 has risen to 95.1 percent

In the Caraga Region, thirty-one more people have recovered from the coronavirus illness 2019 (Covid-19), increasing the total number of recoveries to 46,258, or 95.1 percent of the total 48,649 cases.

According to the latest report from the Department of Health (DOH) 13 released on Tuesday, 14 new Covid-19 instances were reported in the region on Monday, with one case in Agusan del Norte, three in Agusan del Sur, two in Surigao del Norte, and one in Surigao del Norte.

In Butuan City, one in Cabadbaran City, and two in Surigao City, four new cases have been reported.

“As of Monday, 545 active cases remained in the Caraga Region, accounting for 1.1 percent of the total number of Covid-19 cases registered in the region,” the DOH-13 said.

According to the report, 63 percent of the current cases are asymptomatic, 33.1 percent have mild symptoms, 3.5 percent have severe symptoms, and 0.3 percent are in critical condition.

One death was also reported, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths in the area to 1,846.

Covid-19 vaccinations were administered to 30.86 percent of the target population for immunization coverage in the region, according to the study.

According to the CDC, a total of 1,257,977 Covid-19 vaccinations have been provided in the region as of November 14, with 601,006 people considered fully vaccinated.
