A total of 91,777,433 doses of coronavirus vaccination have been delivered in the Philippines, with 38,168,603 Filipinos now fully protected against the hazards of Covid-19 infection.

Data from the national Covid-19 immunization dashboard as of Monday showed that 53,098,886 Filipinos had gotten their initial dosage, with a total of 509,944 booster shots and additional doses given to healthcare personnel, older citizens, and immunocompromised patients.

In the last seven days, the average daily immunization rate was 1,497,212 doses.

During the five-day major “Bayanihan, Bakunahan” vaccination drive, which was originally slated for Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, but was then extended until Dec. 3, the Department of Health (DOH) stated that a total of 9,937,827 Covid-19 doses were provided.

From December 15 to 17, the government will conduct another round of mass vaccinations with the goal of fully inoculating 54 million Filipinos by the end of the year.

Similar restrictions would be implemented during the second phase of the Bayanihan, Bakunahan push, according to the National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) and DOH Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje.

Since February, the Philippines has obtained 146 million doses of Covid-19 vaccination.
