The LPA over the Pacific is expected to enter PAR on December 23 or 24.
The meteorological office stated on Monday that a low-pressure area (LPA) over the Pacific could enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on the 23rd or 24th of December.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) indicated in a statement that it will be closest to Mindanao’s landmass on Saturday night or on December 26.
It’s possible that the LPA will turn into a tropical depression in 30 to 40 percent of cases.
As a result, the PAGASA warned the public to exercise caution and remain watchful against unauthorized information obtained from unreliable sources.
PAGASA’s website and official social media profiles provide access to information.
Typhoon Odette (international name Rai), which passed over the PAR last Saturday, wreaked havoc on many parts of the country.
Earlier this month, PAGASA predicted that one or two tropical cyclones will form or enter the nation.
Paolo will be the name of the next tropical cyclone.
