The Palace expresses gratitude to the public for the PRRD’s excellent net satisfaction rating.

On Tuesday, Malacanang commended the people for awarding President Rodrigo Roa Duterte a “very good” net satisfaction rating of +60 in a survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations in December 2021. (SWS).

“Lubos po kaming nagpapasalamat sa sambayanang Pilipino sa patuloy ninyong suporta at tiwala sa liderato ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte (We are very grateful to the Filipino people for your continued support and trust in President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s leadership),” Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, who also serves as

Duterte will continue to serve the country to the best of his ability until his term ends in June, according to Nograles.

“Asahan po ninyo na patuloy na gagawin ng Pangulo kung ano ang ikakabuti ng mas nakakarami hanggang sa huling araw ng kanyang panunungkulan,” he added.

Duterte continues to have the highest net satisfaction rate among the country’s senior authorities, according to the SWS study.

His net satisfaction rating of +60 is 8% better than it was in September 2021, but it is 19% lower than it was in November 2020.

According to SWS president and chief executive officer Linda Luz Guerrero, Duterte’s high net satisfaction rating is attributed to his solid base of support, perceived decisiveness, and his administration’s initiatives in addressing poverty and the drug war.

Many local leaders continue to have “complete support” in the Duterte administration’s handling of the current health crisis, according to a prerecorded public address televised Monday night by Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs Jacinto Paras.

In response, Duterte claimed that he does not deserve his popularity, claiming that his Cabinet colleagues are the actual stars of the country’s Covid-19 response.

In a prerecorded public address, Duterte declared, “I am not taking any credit without bringing in the full entourage who has assisted me in my duties as President.”

Even though the Philippines lacked resources at the start of the outbreak and had to rely on other nations for help, he claimed he is “fortunate” to have a “good team” who are dedicated to their duties.

“Ako (Me), I don’t believe I’m deserving of such acclaim. I’d rather share it with all of the department secretaries and directors who are doing an excellent job and are the number one exhibit, thanks to Secretaries Dizon, Galvez, Ao, and Lorenzana. Nakikita mo ang trabaho resulta (We can see the result of their work). “And to think we started with nothing,” he continued.
