Despite the drop in Covid-19 cases, Malacanang on Tuesday urged eligible Filipinos to seek coronavirus illness (Covid-19) booster doses.

Acting Presidential Spokesperson Karlo Nograles said in a Palace briefing that as of February 20, about 33.5 million people are eligible for an additional dosage of the approved Covid-19 vaccinations.

Only 9.7 million people have had their booster doses, according to Nograles, who advises the remaining 23 million to get extra Covid-19 vaccines to protect themselves from the virus.
