The logistics office of the Philippine National Police has been praised for its easy-to-use information management system.
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine National Police (PNP) Directorate for Logistics has been honored for its creation of a consolidated database for the force’s logistical assets.
The directorate and its employees were given a raise “During Monday’s flag-raising ceremony in Camp Crame, Quezon City, the Logistics Data Information and Management System (LDIMS) earned a “certificate of recognition of information system proposal” and a “Medalya ng Katangi-Tanging Gawa.”
The LDIMS is a one-stop shop that maintains a central database that offers real-time information on all PNP logistical assets, validates employee accountability, and makes clearances for retiring PNP personnel easy to get.
Lt. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, PNP deputy chief for administration, who spoke on behalf of PNP head Gen. Dionardo Carlos, said the system strengthens professional and cutting-edge logistics services to make the PNP relevant and responsive to the community’s evolving needs for public safety and security.
“As the PNP prepares for the logistical challenges of the May 9, 2022 local and national elections, as well as post-election day security scenarios, the PNP LDIMS is an advantage for the quick mobilization of our troops and assets, particularly in areas with a history of election-related violence,” says the statement “Sermonia remarked.

According to Olay, on Feb. 9, the PNP NHQ-BAC presented Carlos with newly acquired equipment, including high-speed tactical boats, a brand new utility truck and medium troop carrier, as well as patrol jeeps.
