PAMPANGA’S CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – For the seventh month in a row, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Clark met its revenue collection goal.

According to a report from the Collection Division, BOC-Port of Clark exceeded its monthly objective with actual collections of PHP221.53 million as of May 24, compared to a target of PHP218.82 million.

In comparison to PHP133.783 million in the same period last year, the actual collection is 65.59 percent greater.

The BOC-Port of Clark’s strong revenue collection performance, according to District Collector Alexandra Lumontad, may be ascribed to the port’s improved valuation and increased collection efforts.

In a statement, Lumontad stated, “We in the Port of Clark follow out Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero’s orders to constantly implement stringent valuation and classification regulations to assure the collection of right customs duties and taxes.”

She praised the men and women of the BOC-Port of Clark for their commitment to service, which has resulted in the port’s ongoing revenue collection performance.

She went on to say that the BOC-Port of Clark will increase its revenue collecting operations in order to meet its monthly collection objective.
