Approximately 200 Marikina locals will be employed at the new supermarket

The mayor of Marikina Area, Marcelino Teodoro, said on Thursday that a grocery chain that just established a branch in the city would employ about 200 locals.

According to the SnR store, “trabaho” means “work” in Taga Marikina, which means “hatid” means “hatid” in the gitna of the pandemya. In the middle of the pandemic, the inauguration of the SnR supermarket will provide employment opportunities for graduates of the PLMAR or the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina administration.) In their administration),โ€ Teodoro said at the launching of the 21st branch of the SnR Membership Shopping shop along Sumulong Highway. โ€œThose whom we suggested to be hired are graduates of PLMAR or Marikina City University.โ€

He said that the supermarket’s launch comes at an opportune moment since it would create jobs as part of the country’s economic recovery efforts.

โ€œIt is critical to creating employment for our citizens in the face of the epidemic. Many individuals lost their employment as a result of the economic effect of the pandemic,โ€ he said.

While Teodoro was inspecting the SnR-Marikina premises, SnR president Anthony “Tony” Sy informed him that minimal public health requirements are being rigorously enforced inside the grounds of the supermarket chain.

For an affordable price, the shop offers a wide variety of high-quality, fresh vegetables, meat items, and freshly baked bread.

Since its inception, the Marikina branch has carefully adhered to the bare minimum of health and safety regulations.

โ€œNinety-five percent of our workers are locals of Marikina,โ€ said the company. The fact that some of our workers here are transferred from other shops allows them to teach our new recruits more effectively. โ€œIt is very humbling that Mayor Marcy has welcomed us here,โ€ Sy expressed gratitude.

Sy also demonstrated to Teodoro the stringent precautions being used by the shop to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus.

SnR also has employees roaming about to urge customers to wear face masks and face shields at all times, apart from the signs advising them to exercise social distance mentioned before.

Shopping carts will be allowed to park in designated areas at the supermarket, ensuring that customers may continue to exercise social distance while queuing at the checkout counters.

Teodoro said that the shop would also assist to improve the local economy since it will generate extra money for the municipal government, which will be used to finance programs and social services for the community’s inhabitants.
