ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — The City Health Office said Saturday that 629,868 people, or 87.85% of the target population, have been fully vaccinated since the immunization campaign began in March 2021.

The vaccination target population in this city has been set at 716,960 people by the Department of Health (DOH).

According to data from the City Health Office, the majority of fully vaccinated individuals are front-line workers in the critical sector, with 154,242 belonging to the A4 priority category.

The remaining completely vaccinated people are as follows: Individuals with comorbidity (A3), 78,594; senior adults (A2), 54,250; front-line health care professionals (A1), 18,617; ROPP (5-11 years old), 3,398; pediatrics with comorbidity (12-17 years old), 1,399; and pediatrics with comorbidity (5-11 years old), 60.

According to the City Health Office, 82,940 people have gotten their vaccine booster dosage out of the total number of people who have been fully immunized.

According to the City Health Office, the majority of those who are partially vaccinated belong to the A4 priority category, which has 160,439 people.

Vaccinations are still being administered at a variety of locations, including health clinics, shopping malls, schools, and the Integrated Bus Terminal (IBT).
