Launch of an interactive social media initiative by DILG-Quezon

An online initiative called “Bay-tu-ah” was inaugurated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Quezon province on Monday. The name of the program is a play on the phrase “ano ba ito?” or “what is this? “, which is frequently used in the province’s northern regions.

According to Ashton Garcia, a member of the DILG-Provincial Quezon’s Communications and Information Team (PCIT), the project’s goal is to educate the public about the initiatives and activities of their organization using social media.

“Our office will communicate to the public our most recent initiative in a three to the four-minute video clip, engage with netizens, and enquire about the immediate requirements of all barangays of Quezon,” Garcia added.

Bay-tu-debut ah’s episode covered the newly finished programs in Barangay Lavides in General Luna town.

The people were made aware of the two most important requirements for the barangay—roads and health clinics. It claimed that government organizations responded to these worries right away by building roads and setting up potable water stations using funds from the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP).

Every third Monday at 3 p.m., Bay-tu-ah will be posted, according to Garcia.

The provincial government’s most recent initiative to encourage fitness and wellness among its employees will debut this week.

Head of the Province Sports Office Aris Mercene revealed information on a Zumba class as part of the provincial government’s “Balik-Alindog” initiative on Monday during the flag-raising ceremony.

He said that this was a plan put forth by the governor, Angelina Tan, to help the workforce recover from the pandemic’s negative impacts and encourage healthy behaviors.

In an interview, Mercene noted, “This is optional and available to all the employees who wish to engage in physical activity and social interaction.”

Beginning on February 1, Zumba classes will be held at the Quezon Convention Center on a regular schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 to 6.30 p.m. during the first 40 days.
