In February, LPG prices increased by more than P120/tank.

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) costs will rise by more than PHP11 per kilogram on February 1.

The cost of LPG has increased by PHP11.20 per kg for Petron, PHP11.18 for Phoenix LPG, and PHP11.18 for Solane.

AutoLPG prices at Petron and Phoenix LPG have been increased by PHP6.25 per liter, and Cleanfuel prices have been decreased by PHP5.50 per liter.

In their advice, Petron stated that “these reflect the worldwide contract price of LPG for the month of February.”

As a result, a typical 11 kg. residential LPG tank will cost PHP123 extra this month.

After a rollback of less than PHP47 per 11 kg cylinder in January, this is the first fuel businesses have raised LPG rates this year. (PNA)
