Over Palawan, LPA will offer cloudy skies and sporadic precipitation.
Over Palawan on Saturday, a low-pressure area (LPA) will produce cloudy skies with sporadic rain showers and thunderstorms.
The LPA was discovered 115 kilometers west of Puerto Princesa City, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (PAGASA) 4 a.m. weather report, and may cause flash floods or landslides due to the region’s moderate to occasionally severe rainfall.
The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and easterlies will bring partly overcast to the cloudy sky with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms to Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
There could be landslides or flash floods during a heavy thunderstorm.
Over the Visayas and Mindanao, there will be modest to moderate coastal waters and light to moderate northeast to southeast winds.
Light to moderate east-to-southeast breezes will be present throughout Luzon, and the coastline water will be similarly calm.
The temperature will vary from 26°C to 35°C in Metro Manila, 26°C to 33°C in Laoag City, 22°C to 32°C in Tagaytay City, 25°C to 28°C in Puerto Princesa City, 26°C to 32°C in Metro Cebu, and 25°C to 33°C in Metro Davao.
