Southern Mindanao is affected by ITCZ, which could produce rain.
The rest of the country will have a largely cloudy sky with scattered rain showers and frequent thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening due to the oscillation of the ITCZ, which is affecting southern Mindanao and could bring rain.
On Sunday, the state weather agency PAGASA predicted partly overcast to cloudy sky with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to ITCZ or localized thunderstorms for Metro Manila, the whole Visayas, Palawan, including the Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.
Over the western portions of the Visayas, Palawan, including the Kalayaan islands and Occidental Mindoro, light to moderate winds from the south to southwest will prevail with mild to moderate seas.
Over the rest of the Visayas, light to moderate winds from the northeast to the north will prevail with light to moderate seas.
While Baguio and Banaue in the Cordillera Administrative Region are expected to reach a cooler 25 degrees, Dipolog in Zamboanga del Norte is expected to reach a high temperature of 37 degrees Celsius.
