🌧️ ITCZ to Bring Rain Showers Across Most of PH on Monday ☔
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), a significant portion of the country will experience rain showers due to the influence of the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ). The ITCZ will affect Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao on Monday.
In the 4 a.m. daily weather forecast, PAGASA stated that the Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Palawan can expect scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Grace Castañeda of PAGASA advised precautions against potential floods and landslides, as moderate to heavy rains are also anticipated in these areas.
Castañeda mentioned that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience isolated rains, particularly in the afternoon or evening.
Furthermore, PAGASA stated that no weather disturbances will affect the country in the coming days.
Overall, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail throughout the archipelago.
