Covid-19 is beaten by 186 more cops, and the number of ongoing cases drops to 1.3K
The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced on Wednesday that 186 police officers have recovered from the coronavirus illness 2019 (Covid-19).
According to the PNP’s latest Covid-19 tracker, this brings the overall number of recovered illnesses to 46,920 out of 48,402 since the pandemic began in March 2020.
A total of 52 new cases were added, bringing the overall number of active cases to 1,355, down from 1,489 on Tuesday.
The death toll has remained unchanged at 127.
Meanwhile, out of more than 225,000 PNP employees, 97.05 percent, or 218,555, have been fully vaccinated, with 2.55 percent, or 5,752, waiting for their second dosage.
The number of those who have got their booster doses has reached 41.39 percent or 90,455 people.
Approximately 0.4 percent of the workforce, or 895 people, have not yet been vaccinated.
