Children aged five to eleven years old who receive Covid-19 immunizations in Makati City will be rewarded with “sweet” prizes.

Mayor Abby Binay said in a statement on Friday that they are prepared for next week’s vaccine, which will include take-home premium chocolate items for the nation’s youngest age group.

Binay explained, “The delicious goodies are supposed to reward them while also making them happy.”

As a starting point, the local administration will use the SM mall and the Nemesio I. Yabut Elementary School.

Both sites will have rigorous “no walk-in” policies.

Parents and guardians should enroll their children at https://covid19vaccine.safemakati.com/. Residents and non-residents are both welcome.

The vaccination of children aged 5 to 11 in Metro Manila will begin on Monday with the arrival of 780,000 doses of the reformulated low-dose Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on Friday night.

On February 9, another 780,000 dosages will be distributed.

Binay also encouraged her supporters to get booster shots.

According to the most recent data from the city, 488,858 “Makatizens” have been fully vaccinated, with 123,696 receiving booster doses.
