CEBU CITY, Philippines – The Department of Social Welfare and Development-Central Visayas (DSWD-7) announced on Monday that beneficiaries of the national government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) can use the digital platform to inquire for conditional cash payments.

If the public has serious 4Ps issues or concerns, the agency encourages them to contact the agency by text, email, or social media.

DSWD-7 communications officer Leah Quintana stated in a statement that mobile phone users can send messages to the current number 09189122813 or submit questions to the DSWD’s Facebook fan page “DSWD Region VII.”

Beneficiaries can also send electronic communications to the official email address 4psassistance@dswd.gov.ph, according to her.

According to Quintana, the 4Ps local operations offices in various cities and towns also handle grievances and program implementation reports from walk-in clients.

She noted that the regional field office in Barangay Carretahere here also serves walk-in clients.

Clients of the 4Ps who come in for an inquiry must present their identification card, such as their agency-issued household ID.

Client inquiries or complaints are received by 4Ps grievance officials, who process them immediately for further verification based on records and field inquiry, according to Quintana.

“Through the 4Ps grievance redress mechanism, the DSWD field office VII has addressed 6,342 complaints out of 6,769 cases received in 2021.” (GRS). “The remaining 427 cases will be heard this year,” she said.

GRS is a system, or set of rules and processes, for resolving issues and complaints linked to the 4Ps. Its purpose is to give recipients and the general public a place to express their issues, complaints, and suggestions for program development.
