Naga City has issued new Alert Level 2 guidelines.
LEGAZPI CITY, PHILIPPINES โ After the area was placed under Alert Level 2 on Wednesday, the local government unit (LGU) of Naga City released the most recent rules for indoor and outdoor activities.
Mayor Nelson Legacion issued Executive Order (EO) No. 2022-007 to combat coronavirus disease (Covid-19), which states that vaccinated individuals, regardless of age, are allowed to enter any commercial, private, or public establishment, as well as places of worship, upon presentation of a vaccination card and E-Salvar quick response identification (QR ID) or submission of a duly-completed health declaration and contact tracing form.
“Unvaccinated individuals are only allowed to enter any enterprises and places of worship if they present a negative antigen or reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test valid within 48 hours of the date and time of the test,” according to the EO.
Unvaccinated children under the age of five who are checked in with their fully vaccinated parents or guardians at Department of Tourism (DOT)-accredited accommodation establishments are not required to produce proofs of vaccination or negative RT-PCR test results.
Under Alert Level 2, Naga City will continue to have travel restrictions.
According to the EO, fully vaccinated individuals, regardless of their country of origin, and asymptomatic travelers are allowed to enter the city without having to go through quarantine or undergo Covid-19 testing. They must still give their vaccination card to the Barangay Health Emergency Response Task Force (BHERT) for information and monitoring.
Individuals who are partially or completely unvaccinated, as well as symptomatic passengers, must nevertheless produce a negative RT-PCR test result and a valid ID to BHERT employees 48 hours before departure.
Meanwhile, except when authorized by the Inter-Agency Task Force or the Office of the President, casinos, cockpits, lottery, betting shops, and other gaming businesses, as well as horse racing, are still forbidden in areas under Alert Level 2.
Meetings, conferences, parties, wedding celebrations, religious worship, as well as the operation of theaters and amusement parks, are permitted, although the number of attendees or visitors is still limited.
Other activities are permitted at a maximum capacity of 50 percent for fully vaccinated individuals in indoor venues and 70 percent for fully vaccinated individuals in outdoor venues.
