MANILA, Philippines — Despite the Alert Level 1 designation, indoor places in Quezon City will restrict adults who have not yet been completely vaccinated from March 1 to 15.

Although full capacity will be allowed indoors, all adult participants, guests, and employees must be fully vaccinated in restaurants and other food establishments; personal care facilities such as barbershops, spas, and aesthetic clinics; and sports or exercise facilities such as gyms, fitness studios, and swimming pools, according to the updated guidelines released Tuesday.

Adults who have not been vaccinated are restricted to outdoor facilities, which are described as those without barriers.

Participants in contact sports, whether outdoor or indoor, must be completely vaccinated.

Adults who are not completely vaccinated will be denied admission to indoor cinemas and movie theaters, while shopping malls would demand vaccination and identification cards before admission.

If the consumer does not have a vaccine card, the mall must record the unvaccinated person’s name, phone number, and village and submit it to the local government for immunization.

Masks must be worn at all times, save in specified instances such as when eating or drinking, and physical distance must be maintained at all times, according to the city government.

Minors are still prohibited from leaving the house between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
