MALASIQUI, Pangasinan – The town of Malasiqui is located in the province of Pangasinan After the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) placed Pangasinan on Alert Level 1 from March 1 to 15, establishments can now operate at full capacity and curfew hours have been changed.

Pangasinan Governor Amado Espino III issued Executive Order (EO) No. 15 on Monday, which stated that all private offices and workplaces, as well as government agencies and instrumentalities, may operate at full capacity in accordance with national issuances on vaccination requirements for on-site work.

Face masks must be worn at all times save when eating and drinking in a team or individual sports in facilities where ventilation standards can be maintained, and in outdoor sports or exercise activities where physical distance can be maintained, except when eating and drinking.

High-risk places, such as gathering spaces, heavily touched surfaces, and regularly frequented areas, must be disinfected on a regular basis with disinfectants approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

In the EO, he stated that businesses must maintain enough air exchange and ventilation in accordance with Department of Labor and Employment Order No. 224-21.

“Hand hygiene and sanitation facilities must be installed or maintained with enough and safe water supply, hand washing station or sink, soap and water or 70% isopropyl (or ethyl) alcohol, and hands-free trash receptacles,” he added.

Footbaths, disinfection tents, misting chambers, or sanitation booths should not be used to prevent or control coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) transmission.

Temperature checks may be performed before admission into any facility, and the use of plastic or acrylic barriers or dividers is optional, according to Espino’s EO.

He also stated that the use of health declaration forms or paper-based contact tracing will not be required for all agencies and establishments and that the use of digital contact tracking, such as StaySafe, will be essential.

For all agencies and establishments, the PH application is optional.

“There is no longer any requirement for businesses to build up isolation facilities in the workplace,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the province-wide curfew has been extended from 12 a.m. to 4 a.m.

Individuals aged 18 and up must produce proof of full immunization before participating in mass gatherings or entering indoor facilities, including but not limited to in-person religious gatherings, necrological ceremonies, wakes, inurnment, and funerals, according to Espino.

Except for outside or alfresco eating and take-out channels, all indoor dine-in services of food preparation establishments such as kiosks, commissaries, restaurants, and eateries shall require confirmation of full vaccination.

Proof of full vaccination should also be required in all indoor personal care establishments, fitness studios, gyms, and venues for exercise and sports, all indoor cinemas or movie houses operating at full capacity, visitor or tourist attractions, amusement parks and theme parks, and permitted venues for social events, among others.
