MANILA, Philippines — The meteorological agency announced Friday that fair weather will persist across the country for the next three days.

“In the next three days, we do not expect any weather disturbances or low-pressure areas to influence the country. As a result, pleasant weather will be experienced “The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA )’s Bulquerin remarked.

The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) that affects Mindanao will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and the Davao Region on Friday.

Due to moderate to heavy rains, PAGASA predicts the possibility of flash floods or landslides in these locations.

Fairweather will prevail in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, with isolated rain showers expected in the afternoon or evening.

The temperature in Tuguegarao could reach 36 degrees Celsius; 34 degrees Celsius in Metro Manila; 33 degrees Celsius in Laoag and Tagaytay; and 31 degrees Celsius in Legazpi.

Temperatures in Iloilo, Cebu, and Zamboanga will also hit 31 degrees Celsius.

Across the archipelago, light to moderate winds and modest to moderate seas continue to prevail.
