Domestic travelers’ desire to travel is becoming more eager, as evidenced by the sales made during the Hotel Sales & Marketing Association’s (HSMA) ongoing 2022 September Online Sale (SOS).

According to its data, as of September 27, SOS gross sales have increased by 38% from PHP19.39 million produced in the same period the previous year to PHP26.71 million from the 4,465 coupons sold.

The SOS results, according to HSMA president Benjamin Martinez, “indicate the enthusiasm of the local market to travel, and this market will lead the recovery of the country’s tourist industry.”

Value for money is the main reason customers support the SOS, he continued, “and because this is the third year of the September Online Sale, we already have a strong knowledge of what the market wants.

From September 1 to September 30, various hospitality packages, including hotel stays, weekend getaways, spa visits, group tours, and food and beverage specials, are available during the travel sale.

The SOS, available at https://www.hsma.org.ph/sos/, was introduced in 2020 to assist hotels in increasing their sales amid the terrible consequences of the pandemic.

The SOS offers 78 resorts and hotels, ranging from Southern Tagalog and Metro Manila to well-known beach resorts in Boracay, Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, and Davao.

Every voucher purchased during the sale will be valid forever.
