Japan: NoKor launches two ballistic missiles
Toshiro Ino, the state minister for the defense of Japan, has acknowledged that Pyongyang conducted two ballistic missile tests on Sunday morning.
Ino stated 500 kilometers were covered by both missiles at the emergency briefing that was convened.
The Japan Coast Guard had earlier reported that North Korea looked to have fired what appeared to be a ballistic missile during a missile launch.
About 40 minutes later, the Coast Guard again cautioned ships to take caution following what was allegedly a North Korean ballistic missile test.
Throughout most of the second half of 2022, North Korea conducted ballistic missile tests, with some of the rockets landing close to South Korea and Japan.
