According to a report released on Thursday by the Bureau of Working Conditions (BWC) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), 90% of commercial enterprises countrywide were in compliance with General Labor Standards as of November.

As of November, more than 80,000 enterprises had been examined by the DOLE, exceeding the year’s objective of 75,000 businesses, according to Curada.

“We have already examined 80,915 establishments as of November 2022, surpassing our 75,000 inspection goal for 2022. We have surpassed our yearly goal, he declared.

“We typically do a scheduled, routine inspection. This is based on a list of businesses that we receive from the local governments and the Philippine Statistics Authority, and it is scheduled for an inspection from January to October 2022,” he added.
