Despite the fact that New Year’s Eve is still a week away, the Department of Health (DOH) has already noted at least four injuries from pyrotechnics since December 21.

Based on data from at least 61 hospitals nationwide, the DOH stated in its Saturday bulletin that one case was reported on December 21 and the other three cases were reported on December 23.

According to the DOH, the amount is comparable to the number of cases during the same time in 2021.
