According to a report released on Tuesday by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), losses to infrastructure and agriculture from flooding and severe rains brought on by the shear line had reached about PHP1.38 billion.

The agency stated in its situation update that this comprised infrastructural losses of PHP1.14 billion and agricultural losses of PHP245 million in the areas of Mimaropa, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao, and Caraga.

In the meantime, there were 5,540 damaged homes in Muslim Mindanao’s Mimaropa, Western and Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

3,704 homes were listed as “mostly damaged,” while 836 were listed as “completely ruined.”

As of the time of this publishing, 13 of the 51 reported fatalities had been verified.

Only two of the 16 injuries have been verified, however, seven of the 19 reported missing people have been located.

In 10 locations, there were 150,480 or 597,858 affected families.

In 78 evacuation shelters, there are 2,811 or 8,666 families still seeking refuge.
