Due to the current three meteorological systems, the rain will continue to predominate in various portions of the nation on Monday.

Metro Manila, the Bicol Region, Mimaropa, and Calabarzon may have sporadic rain showers and thunderstorms due to a low-pressure area (LPA) and a shear line.

The northeast monsoon will bring rain to the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayao as well, according to PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration).

Moderate to severe rains could cause landslides or flooding in these locations, according to PAGASA.

The Ilocos Region, the remainder of the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the remainder of the Cagayan Valley will also have light rainfall that is also a result of the northeast monsoon.

Due to localized thunderstorms, there will be sporadic rain showers across the rest of the nation.

Agusan del Norte, which the LPA last monitored 180 km east of Butuan City, is less likely to intensify into a tropical cyclone, according to PAGASA.

Northern Luzon will have severe winds and rough seas, while the remainder of Luzon and the Visayas will experience moderate to strong winds and rough seas.

According to PAGASA, winds will be light to moderately strong with modest to moderate seas elsewhere.
