The “Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program” (4PH) will provide housing for at least 5,000 residents of Candaba town in this province.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed on Tuesday by Candaba Mayor Rene Maglanque and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar for the implementation of the project that will give quality dwelling units to qualified recipients.

Maglanque commended the DHSUD for assisting in supplying his clients with respectable yet economical shelters.

Acuzar, on the other hand, praised Candaba’s local government unit for the initial housing plan and pledged his full support for the project’s execution.

The DHSUD and the Angeles City government, led by Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr., also inked an MOU for the development of 15,000 housing units on March 13.

According to the MOU, the City of Angeles will give the project’s land, and the DHSUD will be in charge of carrying it out in coordination with other significant organizations.

Since the 4PH initiative was introduced in September of last year, the DHSUD said that 123 MOUs have been inked with various local government entities across the nation.

The 4PH program’s process of building and providing inexpensive, accessible, safe, and resilient homes to targeted beneficiaries, particularly the informal settler families and low-income earners, begins with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Over the next six years, 6.15 million housing units are expected to be built nationwide, according to the 4PH initiative.
