From June 19 to June 25, there was a 20% drop in the nation’s daily average of new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), according to Department of Health (DOH) data released on Monday.

The CDC reported 492 daily infections in its most recent case bulletin, down from the 612 instances reported between June 12 and June 18 by 120 cases.

3,442 new cases in all were reported during the most recent week.

Severe and critical infections dropped from 477 the previous week to 325 this week. Over the past week, no confirmed deaths occurred.

Only 204 of the 1,564 intensive care unit (ICU) beds are used, or 13 percent, whereas 2,274 of the 12,855 non-ICU beds are used, or 17.7 percent.

As of March 19, at least 78,443,972 people, or 100.4% of the target population for the nation (78,100,578), have received the Covid-19 vaccine, including 82.16 percent of 8,721,357 seniors.

Of the population receiving all recommended vaccinations, 23,811,248 have received booster doses.

Since January 2020, 4,159,815 million coronavirus cases and 66,482 fatalities have been reported nationwide.
