According to the meteorological agency, Tuesday’s low-pressure area (LPA) and intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will continue to bring rain showers to Luzon’s southern and eastern regions.

However, it will bring rain to the eastern parts of Luzon, according to Grace Castaneda of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), who said that the LPA, which was last tracked 260 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon, still has a remote chance of intensifying into a tropical cyclone.

She predicted that the ITCZ would bring rain showers to Southern Luzon regions.

She noted that over Region 4-B (Mimaropa), Bicol Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought on by the LPA and ITCZ would predominate.

Over the rest of the nation, isolated rain showers from small-scale thunderstorms will predominate.

PAGASA advised the public to be cautious since severe thunderstorms and moderate to occasionally heavy rains could cause landslides and flash floods.

Light to moderate winds and small to medium seas will continue to be present throughout the archipelago.
