The Philippine National Police (PNP) stated on Tuesday that their officers will remain at the raided Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) establishment in Las Piñas City until they complete the processing of evidence gathered from the site.

According to PNP Chief Information Officer Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, the examination of thousands of computer sets and other pieces of evidence found at Xinchuang Network Technology, Inc. will take some time. He assured the public that once the investigation and profiling of individuals in custody are finished, they will promptly vacate the premises.

The Vargas Law Office, representing Xinchuang, demanded in a letter to the PNP that the units still present in the compound immediately leave, emphasizing that the location is not a holding facility. The letter also requested the return of confiscated items and compensation for the damage caused by the raid.

PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo stated on Monday that the police force is prepared to respond in the appropriate venue if necessary and emphasized that the operation was conducted within the bounds of the law. 🚨🔍
