The municipal government of Manila served a total of 10,100 vehicles with 26,000 drivers and passengers at their Covid-19 drive-through booster immunization at the Quirino Grandstand grounds.

Due to increased demand, the four-wheeled vehicle vaccination station has been open 24 hours a day since January 15, after two days of only administering vaccines from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Another 15,000 bicyclists and motorcyclists received their booster doses near the municipal hall at the Kartilya ng Katipunan drive-through station.

According to the Manila Health Department, 4,000 public utility vehicle drivers have received extra vaccinations at the Bagong Ospital ng Maynila thus far.

In addition to the three drive-through locations, the city distributes primary and booster doses in malls, schools, and health institutions.

The city administration had delivered 3,170,140 doses as of 6 p.m. Sunday, including 246,335 primary vaccinations for kids aged 12 to 17 years and 327,455 booster shots.

Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso stated in an online interview on Monday that most of the city’s healthcare professionals who were infected with Covid-19 are recuperating and some have returned to work.
