The Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) regional office said Monday that 1,000 job openings will be available at job and business fairs in this city on December 8.

In an interview, Johana Vi Gasga, a spokesman for the Department of Labor and Employment in Bicol, said the one-day “Trabaho, Negosyo and Kabuhayan (TNK) and Business Opportunities” fair is part of DOLE’s 88th-anniversary celebrations and collaboration with other government agencies.

Despite the fact that the job fair will be held at the Ayala Malls in Manila, she said that job seekers can submit their applications online.

“Those who wish to apply in person can do so during the job fair, while those who can’t make it can still participate by registering at https://bit.ly/signup-dole-jobfair-region5”, she added.

Those who prefer face-to-face application can go to the Ayala Malls Cinema from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to Gasga.

On December 8, online applicants must log in to their registered account, seek their preferred employment, submit their needs, and wait seven days for a response from the organization.

According to Gasga, the TNK and Business Opportunities program intends to solve the region’s unemployment, underemployment, and job mismatch.
