On Friday, the National Police Commission (Napolcom) announced that the Online Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) would be live on Monday.

The Philippine National Police Entrance Examination (PNPE) will be held on April 9 while the PNP Promotional Examination will be held on April 10, according to Napolcom Vice Chair and Executive Officer Vitaliano Aguirre II.

On February 14 at noon, the OLEASS at www.oleass-napolcom.com will open for the PNPE for applicants with surnames beginning with A and B; February 15 for applicants with surnames beginning with C, D, E, and F; February 16 for G, H, I, J, K, and L; February 17 for M, N, O, P, and Q; and February 18 for R, S, T, U, V, W, X,

Starting at noon on February 19, the server will be available for Police Officer 4th Class Examination (Corporal and Staff Sergeant); and from February 21 onwards for Police Officer 3rd Class Examination (Master Sergeant, Senior Master Sergeant, Chief Master Sergeant, and Executive Master Sergeant); Police Officer 2nd Class Examination (Lieutenant and Captain); and Police Officer 1st Class Examination (Major and Lieutenant Colonel).

Regional offices will limit the number of examinees they can handle due to resource constraints.

Acceptance of online applications will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and maybe halted even before the deadline with advance notice.

“The responsible regional office reserves the right to limit the number of examinees to be accommodated, taking into account the Covid-19 cases in the locations where the examinations are to be administered.” “The Napolcom has the authority to cancel the examination at any moment if the concerned LGU (local government unit) requests it,” Aguirre added.

From February 21 through March 14, you can submit applications that meet all of the conditions.

The PNPE and 4th Class examinations cost PHP400; the 3rd Class examination costs PHP450; the 2nd Class examination costs PHP500; and the 1st Class examination costs PHP600.

PNPE and Promotional Examination applicants can choose their examination center regardless of where they live thanks to the OLEASS.

Filipino individuals under the age of 30 who have earned a bachelor’s degree are eligible to take the PNPE Exam.

The entrance examination is also needed of patrolmen and patrolwomen whose appointments are temporary due to a lack of acceptable qualifications.

All qualified uniformed members who meet the basic qualifying conditions for examination in terms of rank and eligibility are eligible to take the Promotional Examination.

On the scheduled appointment date, an applicant should bring the following documents to any of the 17 regional offices: duly completed application form and index card; two recent, identical in color 1×1 identification (ID) photos with white background and complete name tag (for PNP members, the name tag should indicate the rank before the name); one legal size window envelope with PHP21 worth of mailing stamp; transcript o

Temporary appointment candidates must bring a certified true copy of the attested appointment, plantilla appointment, or Special Order, as well as one government-issued ID with signature.

The first four requirements must be submitted: a certified true copy of attested appointment, plantilla appointment, or PNP Absorption Order; a Certificate of Eligibility/Certification issued by the Napolcom central office, a Civil Service Commission Certificate of Eligibility, or a PRC board certificate; and one government-issued ID with signature.

When reapplying for the same exam at the same testing center, an examinee who fails or fails to take the exam for any reason does not need to resubmit the requirements.

In such circumstances, the candidate will just need to provide the admission slip from the previous examination, complete a new application form, submit an index card with a photo ID, and pay the examination fee.
