The number of active PNP Covid-19 cases has dropped to 39.
MANILA, Philippines — The number of active coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases among Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel has reduced to 39, according to the PNP.
According to the police department’s newest Covid-19 tracking, this is down from Tuesday’s 50 active cases.
The PNP also announced 21 new recoveries, bringing the total number of people found to 48,630.
Since the epidemic began in March 2020, ten new cases have been reported, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 48,797.
No further deaths have been reported, bringing the total death toll to 128.
Meanwhile, fully vaccinated PNP personnel account for 97.86 percent of the service’s 224,878 members, or 220,076 out of 224,878.
The number of those waiting for a second dosage is 1.82 percent, or 4,091, while the number of people who are still unvaccinated is 0.32 percent, or 711.
The number of PNP officers that received booster shots was estimated to be 52.91 percent, or 116,436.
