MALOLOS CITY, BULACAN — At least 1,180 people deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the Bulacan Provincial Jail (BPJ) in this city have got their coronavirus illness 2019 booster vaccinations (Covid-19).

Governor Daniel R. Fernando stated Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccinations were employed for the booster rollout program sponsored by the Provincial Health Office-Public Health in an interview on Wednesday.

Last Saturday, 755 PDLs received booster shots, and 425 more received shots on Monday, according to Fernando.

He stated that everyone in the province has the right to be protected from the threat of Covid-19 and that the provincial government is doing everything possible to ensure that all Bulakenyos are protected through an enhanced immunization program.

“Bawat isa po sa lalawigan ng Bulacan ay pinagsusumikapan nating mabigyan ng bakuna, lalo na po itong booster shot para maging buo ang panlaban natin sa sakit, lalo na po itong booster shot para maging buo ang panlaban natin sa sakit,” (We are attempting to provide immunizations to everyone in the province of Bulacan, particularly booster injections, to ensure that we are fully protected against disease.) Everyone has the right to be protected, and I want to make sure that no one is left behind),” the governor stated.

He went on to say that the booster distribution would continue until all 1,800 PDLs were immunized.
