Bulgaria, Iran, and Panama have their vaccination certificates approved by the PH.
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines has approved three additional countries’ Covid-19 vaccination certificates — Bulgaria, Iran, and Panama, Malacanang announced Wednesday.
The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases approved Resolution No. 164-E, which approved the acceptance and recognition of the three countries’ national Covid-19 vaccination certificates “for the purposes of arrival quarantine protocols, as well as interzonal/intrazonal movement.”
“This is in addition to the other countries/territories/jurisdictions whose vaccination proofs have been approved for recognition in the Philippines by the IATF,” the IATF resolution stated.
This is in addition to any other proofs of vaccination that the IATF has approved for all inbound travelers.
Meanwhile, the Bureau of Quarantine, the Department of Transportation’s One-Stop-Shop, and the Bureau of Immigration have been directed to accept only the IATF-approved proofs of vaccination.
The Philippines currently recognizes vaccination certificates issued by 72 different countries, territories, and jurisdictions.
Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, and Kuwait.
