MANILA – The Mandaluyong municipal government announced on Thursday that the administration of second Covid-19 booster doses has been offered to other priority groups such as healthcare workers (A1) and senior persons (A2).

The local administration announced in a public advisory that healthcare workers and senior citizens who received the first booster injection four months ago can now get the second dose at the Atrium executive building in Mandaluyong city hall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For second booster doses, the local government will provide Pfizer, Moderna, and Sinovac vaccinations.

A valid government-issued ID and immunization card are required for walk-in vaccines.

Meanwhile, on Friday, the city of San Juan will begin its second booster immunization program.

The city government encouraged eligible residents in the A1 and A2 priority groups to begin registering for the Covid-19 vaccine online at https://vaxreg.sanjuancity.gov.ph/vaccine registration/public/.

The city’s Greenhills Mall is the city’s principal immunization venue for second boosters (3rd Floor of V-mall).

The National Vaccination Operations Center of the Department of Health previously issued Memorandum No. 2022-0206, which outlined interim operational rules for administering the second booster dosage to the elderly and healthcare professionals.

The second booster dose must be given at least four months following the first booster dose.

The government advised persons who are eligible to acquire a supplementary booster vaccine against Covid-19 infection.
