The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) announced the holding of face-to-face activities for the third quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) slated for September 8 for the first time since the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic started in March 2020.

“After the series of online NSED caused the pandemic, the NSED this third quarter would be conducting physical drill(s) and functional exercise(s),” it stated in a Facebook post on Wednesday night.

To stop the spread of Covid-19, the OCD reminded all participants and the general public to keep up with all current minimum health standards.

“The ceremonial button-pressing and practical practice at the Ayala Property Management Corporation Headquarters were attended by locals from Makati and Ayala Corporation.
